Social Media Academy means thought leadership

Our worldwide Alumni knows: Developing a successful social media strategy for a mid market  company or a global enterprise is no easy task. Leveraging social media for demand generation, improving brand reputation, creating a better customer experience, reducing risks of product development mistakes, analyzing market dynamics in near real time and more is not something you learn from tweeting and building fan pages. The Social Media Academy was founded in 2008 and is providing social media education and social media certification for the top social media managers and consultants in the world. An all online education

Since we started in January 2009, all classes are online, no classroom training.
1) Social media IS online
We want attendees to experience the power of online collaboration, relationship development and even learning right from the beginning. Like you can't learn how to swim in a class room.
2) Hands on exercise focus
An important part of the learning experience are practical real world exercises between each session. We don't need class rooms to do that.
3) Collaborative environment
We want attendees to work with others almost around the world. Typical classes are either a mix of US, European and Latin American students - or - from Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
4) Wherever you are
We want to save you travel cost and be able to do that from wherever you are.
